THE IDEA / 01

Private PDF redaction

Sample brief
THE QUESTION WORTH ASKING

Is privacy enough to stand out?

WHAT TO INVESTIGATE

A privacy claim alone is a hypothesis. Check what happens when competitors export a document, not just when they open it.

A RISK TO TEST

A crowded category with established free tools.

A hypothesis, not a measured score
YOUR NEXT MOVE

Watch five target users redact a real document. Find the step they still don’t trust.

What would the smallest useful version look like? +

One reliable redaction workflow, a clear privacy explanation, and an export people can verify.

Designed to turn research into a decisionSources linked. Estimates labelled. Uncertainty included.
02 — FROM WHAT IF TO WHAT NEXT

Keep the ambition.
Question the assumptions.

Help shape Asterion
01

Start with the spark.

Your idea, the people it’s for, and the problem you want to solve. No pitch deck required.

02

Look beyond the hype.

Map the competition. Question the demand. Find the assumptions that could quietly sink the idea.

03

Choose your next move.

Build, refine, or pass — with a focused MVP brief and a real-world experiment to test the recommendation.

03 — YOUR VOTE SETS THE DIRECTION

Should we
make this real?

We’re turning our idea-research engine into a public product. Before we do, we’d like to hear from the people who would actually use it.

One thoughtful report. A clearer next move.
$10 per idea, proposed.

Your vote is a signal.
Not a payment or a promise to buy.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you
put your hand up.

Can I evaluate an idea right now?

This page is an interest test for the public dashboard. The planning engine exists locally; the public evaluation service is not open yet. Vote to help decide what we build next.

What would the $10 report include?

The proposed report covers your top 3 competitors with sources, market and distribution signals, major risks, a build/refine/pass recommendation, and a focused MVP brief. The first release would focus on small B2B software and browser tools.

Does a positive report mean the idea will succeed?

No. Research helps you identify assumptions; it does not prove people will buy. Search volumes and CPC are estimates unless a cited data source supports them. The report would suggest a real customer-demand test.

Do I need to pay or share my email to vote?

Neither. Voting is free and email is optional. If you choose to join the waitlist, we’ll use your email for a launch notification for Asterion. Emails are private.
